Mobile Friendly Websites
Make your website responsive for use on mobiles and tabletsDoes your company have a website?
Good news
First, the good news: If you have a website, then you have a site that can be accessed by any mobile device with a browser.
Bad news
Now, the bad: Chances are, that site looks pretty poor on that mobile device!
If you have concerns about this, then you’re not alone
Just as companies discovered that they needed to create a website to keep themselves visible to their clients and potential customers, history is repeating itself in mobile.
Post 2013 more people are using mobile phones than PCs to get online, and by mid-2011, consumers were spending more time on their mobile devices than on their PCs.
Google Mobile Friendly Test
Google is making changes to its ranking algorithm which will be put in place at the end of April 2015.
If your website is not optimised for mobile traffic these changes will no doubt have a negative effect on your search engine rankings.
So how do you address this problem?
At Glass Frog Digital, even though our company name is new, our principals are old hands at the internet, and in 2010 we took steps to ensure that we were totally prepared for the next wave of the internet – the mobile revolution.
Becoming mobile-friendly can be done in a variety of ways, and it is our job to help you choose the best solution for your specific needs – we may even be able to add a small piece of code to your existing site that will redirect visitors using mobile devices to a specially designed mobile friendly website; and this could even be hosted at the same place your regular site is kept.
Mobile is already the new internet – is your company ready to take advantage of this new and exciting market.
